The Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is a gigantic canyon and marvel of nature, carved by the river Colorado in Arizona, USA. The Grand Canyon is 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide and over a mile deep and considered one of the natural Wonders of the World. The Colorado river has exposed over 2 billion years of geological history, eroding the rock, creating a colourful and awe inspiring sight.

Not only a beautiful example of nature’s power and magnitude, here you’ll also find ancient caves of Native Indians, an extensive variety of flora and fauna and vast pine forests in the upper levels of the canyon.
