Castro Theatre – Built in the early 1920s, this movie theatre is a glorious example of design with eclectic elements of Mexican, Italian and Oriental influences and seats over 1400 people. Today it shows old and international films, even ‘sing-along’ nights! Presidio Pet Cemetery – Ever seen a Pet Cemetery? No? Thought not…so here’s one in San Francisco and too right, pets can be just as important to some of us as family and friends and we should be able to pay our respects after their furry lives have expired. San Francisco International Beer Festival – Forget about Oktoberfest, come here instead! With your entry fee of about 60$ you get to sample over 300 different beers and you also get to eat for free, with all proceeds going to a charity – awesome!
